It was an extraordinary art sale. 290 art pieces, all 6×6″ were donated to the show as a fundraiser for Old School Square Cornell Art Museum in Delray Beach, and were on exhibit for the month of July.
Then, on July 28, the sale began, with a process that allowed certain groups of people, picked at random to put a red dot on up to two pieces they wanted to purchase. Different colored bracelets determined which group people were in.
My two pieces were dotted by those in the first group. Hooray! I was so pleased. Watching the crowd, it was evident it was a fun activity for all.
