Just today I heard it mentioned on a podcast I was listening to that the life of an artist is never boring! I can attest to that, and more so every day!
I painted yet another Lion so that I would have enough of them for shows I am committed to. I wanted to enter one in an exhibition, but at the same time I wanted one for an indoor show and sale! I have been juggling paintings, show entry forms, dates, deadlines, and would you believe PAINTING! I know I left out a bunch of other tasks…scanning, photographing, posting, matting and framing, delivery, etc, etc. and my computer even decided to go berserk and is getting fixed.
Keeping up with the challenge has been…challenging. What I have learned this time around, is that I like living with a painting for more than 5 minutes before I pronounce it complete. Because I need to post each day, I have not had that luxury and so I post sooner than I may be ready. But that doesn’t mean the brush never touches that paper again…just not today.
