So much going on lately, as I think I have hinted at in other posts. Many, many exhibit opportunities coming up, though I must say, this summer has been chock full as well. There is so much support for artists here in South Florida, and depending on how far I am willing to travel, it grows exponentially.
One goal I have, is to reach into central Florida a bit where the farms and ranches are. I would love to expand my reach to people who love ranches and farms, which gives me more reason to paint the animals that inhabit those places.
This iguana continues my Florida influence. I love these guys. So prehistoric and oh so interesting. I’m a fan of frogs/toads, turtles, and chameleons. Grew up with all of those. Frogs and turtles grew in status when I had a pond in Atlanta. Now in South Florida, I have iguanas, bigger turtles, and birds.
