I’m not really sure where this year went. It’s been a full year since I moved further south to Pompano Beach, Florida and have gotten my feet wet (just barely) with the thriving art community here. I’ll admit it has surprised me. There is so much to take part in and I’m looking forward to participating more next year.
I am way behind in posting new work. The summer months were spent watching sea turtle nests 2 nights a week until midnight. It was an experience I am so looking forward to next year. I miss it so much. If you have spent any time on this website, you will notice I love nature.
The past months have been spent preparing for the holiday season, framing and matting originals, increasing my selection of printed merchandise, and organizing myself for sidewalk shows at festivals through the holiday season and beyond. Original works are for sale by emailing me at claudia@claudiaHafnerWatercolor.com and to purchase merchandise and prints see the links in the right hand column of this page.
Festivals and Shows I’ll be exhibiting in are posted in the right column of this page and I try to keep it updated regularly.
I also post on my page in Facebook. With upcoming changes with Facebook (surprise, surprise), I’m hoping to make this website more of the go to place. It seems counting on being noticed on Facebook consistently diminishes. Which means, I need to do more work on this website in the coming months.
I hope my community of followers and collectors are enjoying what they see. Thank you so much for supporting my art, and if I don’t get back here before the end of the year, have a wonderful holiday season!
