Weekly, for over 10 years a watercolor group of women, as it turned out, would get together with our teacher, Marilynn Brandenburger, and have a critique session. At times we were left on our own when Marilynn was out of town teaching and/or traveling. Often Alex would offer her home as a place to meet (Or have Christmas parties). And almost always there was something blooming in her wonderful yard. This painting is named after her because this array of flowers was from her yard. Three variations, the above painting being the latest.
